Lyon Airport

Lyon Airport is situated 15 kms east of the city. There are numerous arrival and departure gates in the Airport but the majority of UK flights arrive at gate 17 which is conveniently close to the minbus car park. Being one of the major French airports means that it is very well appointed with shops, restaurants and bars.
Whilst Lyon Airport is considerably further away than Geneva or Chambery the route is almost entirely on motorway making for fast transfer times. Be aware that even the motorway can get vey busy during school holidays though, with long queues at the tolls. Transfer prices do reflect the distance and tolls involved.
