Made up of several adjacent villages, Plan Peisey and Vallandry are the only ones that are actually on the slopes and certainly boast the best nightlife/shopping. We personally recommend the Bar du Mont Blanc!
The skiing around in Peisey Vallandry is exceptional with loads of tree runs and the villages themselves consist mainly of traditionally built chalets.
