Cool Bus offer a range of private airport transfer routes, from Geneva, Lyon & Chambery airports to twelve resorts in the French Alps.

GENEVA AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Geneva airport is situated very close to the French border and has terminals in both Switzerland and France. For airport transfers always exit on the Swiss side.

This is the most popular airport for transfers to our area due to it’s proximity and the varied choice or airlines and routes available. As such we have our own desk here at the weekends during the winter. EasyJet offer cheap flights to here from a large number of UK cities.

LYON AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Lyon Airport is situated 15 kms east of the city. There are numerous arrival and departure gates in the airport but the majority of UK flights, including all of Easyjet’s, arrive at gate 10 (terminal 3).
Whilst Lyon Airport is considerably further away than Geneva or Chambery the route is almost entirely on motorway making for fast transfer times. Having said that the motorway can get very busy during French holidays with delays of 1-2 hours.

CHAMBERY AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Chambery Airport is situated just east of the city and services a large volume of passengers for its size. Easyjet and Jet2  have regular arrivals here.

Chambery is also the nearest airport to the resorts in our area making for some very short transfers which are, for the large part, on motorways. The down side is that it is situated in a fairly narrow valley which can attract bad weather resulting in flight delays or diversions on a fairly regular basis.
