Cool Bus HiFi

Long drives and good music go together like cheese and biscuits…

as such, it wasn’t long before we started putting together 9 hour, taylor made MP3 compilation CDs to play in our vans. Pretty soon this became an annual affair. For the Cool Bus ten year anniversary we invested in a sound system. Clearly the next logical step was to fit the sound system into an old van and so, Cool Bus HiFi was born.

COOL BUS HIFI

You can catch the CoolBus FM Mobile Disco playing at various events in the Tarentaise Valley throughout the year and it is also available to hire. Our rate is 250 euros per event including travel to anywhere within a 35 km drive of Bourg St. Maurice and having the van on site for up to four hours.

48 LITRES OF FUNK

Strictly vinyl only from Rich Crandon! His moniker refers to the 48 litre plastic crate that he uses to cart around his carefully selected collection of vinyl that has taken many years for him to put together. A firm local favourite! Mixcloud / Facebook

B-BURG

B-Burg has played alongside the likes of DJ Yoda, Format and Krafty Kuts amongst others. Racked up over 60 gigs in the valley last season alone! Specialising in vinyl sets brimming with funk, soul, hip-hop and disco and peppered with his own cuts and scratches. SoundCloud

PANIC!

Originally called DJ Panic Manouver due to her tendency to get in a bit of a flap behind the wheels of steel in the early days. Since then she’s mastered zen mixing but the name Panic seems to have stuck fast. She enjoys all styles but has a definite tendency towards harder dance music of late. Played legendary sets at parties in the valley last season.

Compiler of the original Cool Bus FM CD’s, builder of mobile disco’s and responsible for most of what you can hear on the Cool Bus FM Soundcloud page. Frequently seen behind the decks in van 69 and other venues.
