Les Menuires, along with Val Thorens and St. Martin, make up the westerly of the 3 Valleys – Vallee de Belleville. Certainly not one of the best looking resorts in the area, it nonetheless has a full compliment of bars, restaurants, clubs and many high rise apartment blocks! As with all resorts in the 3 Valleys, the terrain for skiing and snowboarding is hugely varied. The area immediately around Les Menuires is also extensively covered with snow canons so that even in poor seasons, there is no problem with skiing right into the town.
