LYON AIRPORT

Lyon – St. Exupery Airport is situated 15 kms east of the city. There are two terminals. Terminal 2 is mainly concerned with domestic flights. As such our customers generally arrive into Terminal 1.

We are only able to park directly outside the terminal for 10 minutes at a time. As a result, our drivers will park just outside the airport and wait for communication with the client. Once the driver knows the customers have their bags and are ready to go, he/she will drive into the ‘Depose Minute’ car park. This is situated to the left of the main round building of Terminal 1. The area to the right is reserved for buses and local taxis only.

Lyon Airport transfers are longer in distance than those from Geneva or Chambery but the route is almost entirely on motorway making for fast journey times. Having said that the motorway can get very busy during French holidays with delays of 1-2 hours.

We can provide emission free Lyon airport transfers using our fleet of electric vehicles but due to the distances involved, it may be necessary to make a brief charging stop in Albertville. The Tesla station here is next to the Geant Hypermarket so this can work well if you want to get some grocery shopping for your holiday. There is also a cafe and public toilets
