CHAMBERY AIRPORT TRANSFERS
Chambery Airport is situated just east of the city and services a large volume of passengers for its size. Easyjet and Jet2 have regular arrivals here. Chambery is also the nearest airport to the resorts in our area making for some very short transfers which are, for the large part, on motorways. The down side is that it is situated in a fairly narrow valley which can attract bad weather resulting in flight delays or diversions on a fairly regular basis.
LES ARCS
Les Arcs is the Cool Bus local resort so naturally we think it’s the best in the valley! It is linked up with La Plagne to make up the huge Paradiski area. There is some incredible off-piste with the only downside being that it does get tracked out very quickly. The snowboard park is extremely well shaped and maintained. There are excellent tree runs around 1600 and Vallandry. It also has the longest ski run in the Alps from the top of the Aiguille Rouge all the way down to Villaroger. The best nightlife is in Arc 1800 and the quickest access to the higher slopes is from Arc 1950 and Arc 2000.
