AIME TRAIN STATION
Aime train station sits part way along the Tarentaise Valley and provides an ideal hopping off point for visitors to the ski resort of La Plagne. This is one of the stops for the ski train which departs from Kings Cross St. Pancras in London every Friday evening.
Ski train tickets can be booked be booked on the Euro Star website and generally go on sale in October.
It is also possible to catch a direct train from Paris to Aime which offers many more options in terms of timing. The Snow Carbon website offers great advice on booking trains to the Alps and a variety of routes are available via the SNCF website.
