Bourg St Maurice Train Station Transfers
Sitting at the end of the Tarentaise Valley, Bourg St Maurice Train Station Transfers are ideal for visitors to the ski resorts of Les Arcs, Tignes, Val d’Isere, La Rosiere and Ste. Foy. This is the final destination for the ski train which departs from Kings Cross St. Pancras in London every Friday evening. Ski train tickets can be booked on the Euro Star website and generally go on sale in October.
It is also possible to catch a direct train from Paris to Bourg and this offers many more options in terms of timing. The Snow Carbon website offers great advice on booking trains to the Alps and a variety of routes are available via the SNCF website.
TIGNES
Along with Val d’Isere, Tignes makes up the huge Espace Killy ski area. It is one of only a few resorts in Europe classified as snow-sure and boasts a very long winter season plus summer skiing on it’s glacier. The area is well known for it’s good off-piste, half-pipe and snowboard parks.
Tignes is spread over five resort centres with Les Brevieres at the bottom being the most picturesque. Next up is Les Boisses followed by Le Lac and Lavachet which are probably the best spots for nightlife and shopping along with Val Claret at 2100m.
