Val d’Isere
Along with Tignes, Val d’Isere makes up the huge Espace Killy ski area with around 300kms of pistes. It is well known for it’s good off-piste and snowboard parks. With the glacier in Tignes the area boasts a long season and good conditions can usually be found somewhere in the resort even after long periods without snow.
The town itself (1950m) is very picturesque, nestled in a narrow valley with traditionally built chalets, some excellent hotels and world-renowned nightlife!
