LA ROSIERE
La Rosiere is generally regarded as a family resort with many intermediate runs. It is linked with La Thuile over the border in Italy. Whilst a relatively small area it does have some excellent off piste which can remain untracked for days after a snowfall.
The town itself at 1850m has some amazing views south down the valley towards Moutiers and east towards Val d’Isere and is actually situated on the Col de Petit St. Bernard. If you are driving out don’t get fooled by your route finder though as this road is only open in the summer!
